Summer is almost passed - time to go back to class!

Happy August! This month, Miami University students will be finishing their internships, jobs, and volunteer efforts, and be moving back to beautiful Oxford! Classes start on August 26!

As you can see, some of the executive board isn't quite ready...

Last Month's Recap

In July, MBC members made their way back from studying abroad, continued to excel in their internships or jobs, or vacationed and enjoyed the hot summer days!

What have our members been up to in July, and what is coming up in August? Keep reading to find out :)

Cincinnati, Ohio

Majors/minors:

Marketing

What are you doing this summer?

This summer I am working as a consulting analyst for Accenture at their San Francisco office. More specifically, I work within the innovation hub where we support global giants such as Google, Nike, Amazon, and many others to help them ideate, rapidly prototype, and scale innovative products and services for the future. Working with Accenture this summer has been an amazing experience and I’m eager to help apply what I’ve learned to MBC this upcoming semester!

Other extracurriculars other than MBC:

Alpha Delta Phi social fraternity

Supply Chain Management Association

Dream job and/or city post-graduation:

After school, my dream job is to do strategic marketing and or management for a major consulting, CPG, or advertising agency in Chicago.

If you could make a rule for a day that the world had to follow, what would it be?

This is a great question, but I would have to say my rule would be for everyone to pick up after themselves. I’m a huge neat freak and can’t stand when people leave without picking up their mess – plus our planet could use some support!

What are you most looking forward to when coming back to Miami in August?

Mostly everything – always a good time coming back to Oxford and reconnecting with friends, faculty, and of course Brick Street.
